Mummy and Baby Yoga

Mummy and Baby Yoga class is a great opportunity to create a bond with your baby through movement. As a mum, dad, grandparent, you can work through gentle exercises and sequences which will help your baby develop awareness and strengthen their body as well as a relaxation practice which can lead to them sleeping better. Through games and activities babies can have lots of fun with you which is a really joyful experience! Mummy and Baby yoga gives mew mums the opportunity to return to exercise after pregnancy and provides an opportunity to connect and share with other parents.

This class is suitable for babies aged 6-8 weeks up to 9 months. Please ensure you have had your final post-natal check and clearance from your GP or health professional before returning to exercise.

A typical Mummy and Baby Yoga class may include:

  • Breathing practise and settling in
  • 30-40 minutes of gentle exercises, sequences and games with baby
  • 5-10 minutes relaxation 
  • Opportunity at end of class to share and chat with other parents
