Pregnancy Yoga

Pregnancy is a wonderful opportunity to really connect with your body and tune into the changes it goes through during that special 9 months. Pregnancy yoga enables you to continue with your practice if you already attend classes as well as helping those who are new to yoga and want to keep moving during their pregnancy. Classes include modified asanas and yoga sequences as well as gentle breath work and relaxation to help you release tension you may be feeling as your body changes. A typical pregnancy yoga class may include:

  • Pranayama and breath techniques
  • Gentle warm up sequence
  • Modified standing or seated sequences using traditional yoga asanas
  • Gentle cool down flow including pelvic floor strengthening
  • Relaxation and Meditation
