About Max Phillips
I originally got into the fitness industry because of my own struggles with injury. I was given the option of corrective surgery and never play again or spend 3 years of having treatment and doing rehabilitation exercises and through this I learnt a lot about the body and discovered a passion for helping people come back from injury, as well as achieving their health and fitness goals. However my background is in rugby which I have competed in over the course of a decade (competing up to county level) and athletics which I had also competed up to county level for 4 years, alongside this also spent two years coaching in both of the sports. I first started teaching my Max Burn! and FIIT Circuits classes as my way of helping people to achieve their goals. These classes draw their influence heavily from the prior training I had with rugby and athletics. Max Burn! and FIIT Circuits involve a lot of interval and circuit training as these yield much greater results.
